My brief review of this week's 30 Rock is after the jump.

This episode was very, very fun and I enjoyed it a lot. It was far from the best of the season but it had what every good 30 Rock episode has. What it had was fun stories and great little moments that made the episode as good as it was.

The Liz/Vanessa Minillo story was very over the top and ridiculous, which fit perfectly into the style of 30 Rock. Vanessa Minillo was great as the reporter who was vying for the same job as Avery. She was very funny and very convincing. The photo shoot scene made the entire plotline worth it (even though I may never be able to unsee it). My only major issue with this is the payoff was not very good.

The main plotline involved Jack and his new boss played by Ken Howard. He was very funny and this plot had some great moments. I enjoyed everything from the executive dining room scene, to the voice controlled TV scene (*), to the tag with the employee pitches. The plotline provided some great laugh moments and Ken Howard was very funny. Also, Jack's reaction to this becoming a "family company" was absolutely hysterical.

(*) I could watch the joke with Keeping up with the Kardashians many, many times and it would still be funny.

Overall, a good episode with some great jokes.

What did everyone else think?
