Community-"Applied Anthropology and Culinary Arts"

Shirley has a baby during her anthropology final on "Community"

This episode of Community worked in a way that an episode of Community hasn't worked in awhile (if ever, for this show). It told a very simple story very well, and that's all that I can really ask from the show. But it's the type of episode that doesn't particularly leave me with a lot to say beyond that was funny and the ensemble worked really well together in this one. It humanized Chang but I don't particularly have the time to dig into that (I'm dealing with a pretty severe non-internet related computer issue right now).

It was a very funny episode, but it didn't leave me with a whole lot to say about it. And Paintball next week! Get excited!

The Office-"Goodbye Michael"

Michael Scott said goodbye yesterday, and my thoughts on the episode are after the jump.

30 Rock-"Everything Sunny All the Time Always"

Tracy stars in North Korean propaganda on "30 Rock"

I admit that I've been pretty bad about reviewing 30 Rock for the past few episodes. The reason is that I watched this last out of all the NBC comedies over the past few weeks and that means that I wouldn't be able to review the episodes until Saturday Night/Sunday Morning, and by that time there's really no point in reviewing the episode. Next week I'll watch 30 Rock the night it airs for the finale, but for now  some bulleted thoughts on this week's episode are after the jump. (Sorry, bullets are all that time will allow for this week.)

Old TV Watch Project: Summer Edition

It's getting to that time of year where it's time to start thinking about summer. If you don't know, the TV summer starts at the end of May and runs until September. To keep the blog going over the summer, I'll be writing about several cable shows as well as expanding the Old TV Watch Project to multiple weekdays. In this post, I detail all the options for shows that I would want  to cover as a part of the Old TV Watch Project (at least for now). I would love to have your input on which shows I should cover, so please vote in the sidebar on the shows that you want me to cover this summer. The list of shows is after the jump.

Will your Favorite Shows be Renewed or Cancelled?: 4th Edition

It's time for another update to my predictions on which shows will be renewed or cancelled. There are many changes to shows' fates as well as updated analysis in the post. All that is after the jump.

Modern Family-"The Musical Man"

Luke hangs from the rafters on "Modern Family"

I don't know what to say about last night's episode of Modern Family that I haven't said in previous reviews or that's very simple. I'm starting to find Modern Family to be among a group of shows like "The Big Bang Theory" where I don't end up with a lot to say.

Last night's episode was very funny and had three very silly, but very funny plotlines. While the heart didn't completely land in the Cameron plotline, it did land in the Jay plotline.

And that's really everything that I have to say about this week's episode. I'm removing this show from the regular blog rotation, because of my lack of things to say. If the show does an episode that particularly requires a review I'll be happy to review it, but for now I'm done reviewing this show weekly (although not because of the show's quality, because of the nature of the show).
