Golden Globe Picks

Tonight on NBC is the Golden Globes, so I'm writing this to predict (or at least attempt to predict) the winners in the TV categories (Minus miniseries and movie categories). (Later I'll post an analysis on the winners) My picks are after the jump.
TV Series Drama:
   "Boardwalk Empire"
   "Dexter"
   "The Good Wife"
   "Mad Men"
   "The Walking Dead"

Will Win: Mad Men, they've won three years in a row. Although the Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire could contest I think this is no contest.
Should Win: Mad Men, Although this list has 5 great dramas Mad Men is the best of them.

TV Series Musical or Comedy
   "30 Rock"
   "The Big Bang Theory"
   "The Big C"
   "Glee"
   "Modern Family"
   "Nurse Jackie"

Will Win: Modern Family, The show won last year and I don't see anything beating it.
Should Win: Modern Family, As much as I would love to see The Big Bang Theory win this award, Modern Family is a much more creative and much funnier show.

Actor in a Drama
   Steve Buscemi, "Boardwalk Empire"
   Bryan Cranston, "Breaking Bad"
   Michael C. Hall, "Dexter"
   Jon Hamm, "Mad Men"
   Hugh Laurie, "House"
Will Win: Jon Hamm
Should Win: Bryan Cranston

Actress in a Drama
   Julianna Margulies, "The Good Wife"
   Elisabeth Moss, "Mad Men"
   Piper Perabo, "Covert Affairs"
   Katey Sagal, "Sons of Anarchy"
   Kyra Sedgwick, "The Closer"
Will Win: Julianna Margulies, Her performance is great and she will repeat.
Should Win: Katey Sagal, She is one of the best parts of Sons of Anarchy

Actor in a Comedy
   Alec Baldwin, "30 Rock"
   Steve Carell, "The Office"
   Thomas Jane, "Hung"
   Matthew Morrison, "Glee"
Jim Parsons, "The Big Bang Theory"
Will Win: Jim Parsons, One of the most consistently funny actors out there. A must win in my opinion.
Should Win: Jim Parsons, Same as above

Actress in a Comedy
Toni Collette, "United States of Tara"
   Edie Falco, "Nurse Jackie"
   Tina Fey, "30 Rock"
   Laura Linney, "The Big C"
   Lea Michele, "Glee"
Will Win: Laura Linney, A good performance+A big name=Golden Globe Win
Should Win: Tina Fey, She doesn't get nearly enough credit for her work on 30 Rock.

Best Supporting Actor
   Scott Caan, "Hawaii Five-O"
   Chris Colfer, "Glee"
   Chris Noth, "The Good Wife"
   Eric Stonestreet, "Modern Family"
   David Strathairn, "Temple Grandin"
Will Win: Eric Stonestreet, After winning the Emmy he should take the Golden Globe too.
Should Win: Eric Stonestreet, He really is the best actor in the category, in a comedy. I also wouldn't be disappointed if Chris Colfer won (he's been the best part of Glee this season).

Best Supporting Actress

   Hope Davis, "The Special Relationship"
   Jane Lynch, "Glee"
   Kelly MacDonald, "Boardwalk Empire"
   Julia Stiles, "Dexter"
   Sofia Vergara, "Modern Family"
Will Win: Jane Lynch, She should win after being upset last year.
Should Win: Sofia Vergara, One of the most consistantly great actresses on TV.

Again, I'll have thoughts on the winners in another post that will be published about 15 minutes after the last TV category.

Anybody else have any predictions? Anybody else care?

Some ground rules for you to follow when commenting here:
1. This is probably the most important rule: be nice. I will not tolerate any rudeness towards other commenters or myself.
2. Be relevant, comments will be deleted if they are not relevant to the discussion.
3. No spoilers, I and many other people don't want to know what your mother's, sister's, best friend's, brother said about what's going to happen on Chuck. There are many places for discussing what's going to happen on the show in the future, this isn't one of them.
