Some brief thoughts on tonight's Men of a Certain Age are after the jump.
I wish finals weren't this week so I could spend time writing a full review of this episode of Men of a Certain Age. This episode was the perfect example of exactly what the show does right. It told stories that are realistic and could easily happen in real life but it tells them in a fun way that is really fun to watch. There's a sense of humor that's behind the episode that's smart and entertaining.
Some brief plot thoughts:
- Terry basically left the rebound girl when the girl he's in love with returned to him. If this ends badly (which it probably will), this will be devastating to his character, but interesting for Backula to play.
- It was entertaining to see Owen manage his softball team. That plotline was fun to watch and it played off of everything that was happening in the arc very well. Plus, the uplifting feeling behind the episode when they won was a great note on which to end.
- Joe had some crazy things come together. We had Michelle return at the same time that Joe's dad brings his girlfriend for a visit, while his kids are there. Those three things combine for some very entertaining television.
- Joe also continued down the dark gambling path. I don't know where they're going to take this, but it will be devastating for Joe.
What did everyone else think?

3. No spoilers, I and many other people don't want to know what your mother's, sister's, best friend's, brother said about what's going to happen on Chuck. There are many places for discussing what's going to happen on the show in the future, this isn't one of them.
